My latest adventure

Never a dull moment. How about sanding, priming and painting a 14 foot enclosed concession trailer in two days time?

Thankfully I'll have volunteers from the Heights Soccer Club to help over the next few days. My brother Troy has stepped up and started helping all ready. The Soccer Club are the proud new owners of the trailer and I'm volunteering my time and effort to get it ready for them. Last year was Williams first year in Soccer and I coached his team. I never thought I'd enjoy doing anything with Soccer but I'll admit it was fun. I'll be coaching him this year also. Maybe I'll actually know what the heck I'm doing this year too!

Outside and liking it

Sometimes getting a project car outside and under its own power is better then sex.

Sometimes :)

Once I can download some video you will be able to see Dan and the maiden voyage of the FFR Cobra. It sounded awesome, has plenty of power, and will be a hand full for sure. For now, it's back into the shop to get the alignment and suspension squared away. Go over all the bolts and nuts to see if there are issues. Go over the brakes, adjust anything on the engine and also take care of some rear bearing issues on the axles we noticed.

This will do

just fine. Dan received one of his rims this week. 17x9 Detroit Wheels Cobra R. Another did come in, but was wrong, don't ask us how or why. Jegs is even clueless we imagine.

The other two, then a reorder for the fourth will happen this week. Regardless, one rim is in and this is what it looks like.

Tonight the Good Guys Car Show will start rolling into Madison so we are off to QSL for some wings, beer and cool cars. Hopefully some pictures and maybe video Friday.

Cobra Video

We had the Cobra running yesterday and finally where able to hear what it sounds like with the pipes on the side. It's running about 1800rpm in the video. Turn the sound up, the camera doesn't capture sound the best.
